You Know You Are a Vegan When….

People ask you how being a vegan is working out…

Your response:

You Know You Are a Vegan When…

Non-Vegan: Don’t Cows enjoy being milked?
Would you like it if someone milked you?

Where Agribusinesses want you to think your food comes from:

Where it actually comes from:

It’s not a happy Mom & Pop business, as they would like you to think based on commercials and advertising, it’s hardly that way, it’s a mass production business.

Agribusiness commodifies animals.

Do your part, and exclude animal products from your diet, tell the world by your lifestyle that animals aren’t alive to serve us, but deserve to freely roam, reproduce, live and die with out any interference by our kind!

The Informed Vegan: NYC Mayor Backs Carriage Horse Biz.

Mayor Bloomberg on carriage horses

After the controversial death of a carriaige horse in the middle of a busy street, New York City Mayor Micheal Bloomberg took to the airwaves to back the industry up.

When asked about the latest tragedy, Bloomberg expressed his support for the abusive carriage horse industry saying the animals “probably wouldn’t be alive if they didn’t have jobs.” Adding insult to injury, he went on to say that carriage horses are “part of New York’s heritage” to which the Gothamist adds “sort of like poisoned milk and bed bugs.”

The Mayor feels that horses exist only to be made into glue, sold for meat, or pull tourists around New York streets. This won’t help his already plummeting approval rating which has fallen 13 percent in the last 30 days.
